BKT feat Leah Lost – Boyfriend (OBR 002)

Originally an acapella sent by Leah to Leah Lost, this beautiful, hooky and soulful vocal was championed by Bob Povey (Alliance DC) for his Bournemouth-based club night ‘Bump’n’ Hustle.

It was used as the background track for their 2015 promotion video.

Having never found a suitable home for this floor-filler, it now get’s an outing on Bassball Records.

The deep soulful (play on words named) ‘ Hump ’n’ Bustle mix with its with it’s subby baseline and driving pianos, leads the way.

The classic vocal mix – leans toward the mid-90s themed, UKG style groove. With that recognisable bumpy stab chord and bassline style.

The Moods to Dub mix – again with the bouncy stab chord style uses the vocal in a chopped up style.

Finally, Bob & Koffe Povey come together for their ‘Disco tribute’ Remix

From previous experience, this release will once again light up the dance floors!
